NHS Commissioners refuse to pause consultation while they provide better info

Calderdale and Greater Huddersfield Clinical Commissioning Groups have refused to pause the hospital cuts consultation while they provide full accurate information that makes good the Consultation Document’s misleading and missing information.

If you think they should pause the consultation,  please tell them so at the remaining drop ins, the 3rd public meeting (still to be scheduled) and by writing to your Clinical Commissioning Group, ward Councillors, Chair of the Joint Health Scrutiny Committee Cllr Elizabether Smaje, and your MP.

Responding to the request by several Save Our NHS campaign groups, Jen Mulcahy, the Right Care Right Time Right Place Programme Officer,  emailed:

Dear Jenny, and the other signatories to your email,

I can confirm that we did receive your original email.

I apologise that you did not receive an acknowledgment of its receipt.

I can also confirm that we will provide an answer to the questions that you have raised.

I note your request that we should pause the consultation pending an answer to your questions.  I can advise you that we do not intend to pause the consultation, pending a response to your questions.
