Ask your Council leader to publish your area’s NHS Slash & Trash Plan now!

Today Camden Council put the “full” draft version of the North Central London Sustainability and Transformation Plan on its website, despite NHS England telling Clinical Commissioning Groups that they shouldn’t publish the STPs until NHS England has seen them and made them fit for public consumption.

All 44 Sustainability and Transformation Plans had to be sent to NHS England last Friday, 21st October.

Camden Council leader Sarah Hayward said she had “serious reservations” about the North Central London Sustainability and Transformation Plan, and that she decided to publish the plan today because there had been “no political oversight, and minimal public and patient engagement” in the process.

Birmingham and Solihull have also ignored NHS England’s ruling and published their STP.

Why not write to your Council Leader asking them to be like Councillor Hayward, and publish the Sustainability and Transformation Plan for your area?

Here is the  Sustainability and Transformation Plan “footprint” map and index. It is typical that NHS England calls an area a “footprint” – they must employ someone to come up with silly words in the hope that this will throw the public off the track.
