All welcome at Stop the Slash and Trash Plans protest, 11.30am Saturday 12 November outside Huddersfield Royal Infirmary

Please join Friends of Huddersfield Royal Infirmary – the campaign group with the Bullsh*t Alert placards –  outside HRI THIS SATURDAY 12th NOVEMBER from 11:30AM onwards, to protest against the secretive West Yorkshire Sustainability and Transformation Plan that will slash and trash our NHS.

Our Council Leaders say:

“We are  unable to endorse the content of the West Yorkshire and Harrogate-wide STP as, while the high level outcomes of the plan have been discussed with various officers of our councils, the submission has not yet been to any formal Council forums or endorsed in any  of our planning processes.”

It’s time to make our voices heard. It’s time to tell our MPs and Kirklees and Calderdale Councils that the huge NHS cuts and privatisation ordered by the goverment and its quango NHS England  are unacceptable and risks the lives of many.

It’s time to say the closures of A&E and consultant maternity services across England are wrong. It’s time to say that deliberately underfunding the NHS is back door privatisation and whatever our party politics – or lack of them – we say NO!

See you there!

We will gather outside the hospital for around for 60 – 90 mins to protest against the destruction of OUR NHS. We may then walk on to Lindley village to hand out flyers to members of the Public. Stop STP leaflets and placards will be available but please feel free to bring your own STP STPs awareness posters/materials if you wish.

Afterwards we we will be going across to The Wireworks to warm up and discuss future Stop STPs activities…
All welcome!
