Please ask your MP to support hospitals cuts public hearings by Independent Review Panel

Calderdale and Kirklees people, please ask your MP to tell the Independent Review Panel that they need to visit the area and hold public hearings where everyone who wants to, can tell them about the hospital cuts and changes plans.

This is the only way the Independent Review Panel can properly investigate the hospital cuts plans that the Councillors’ scrutiny committee has referred to the Secretary of State for Health,

There is an MP email template here that you can download and amend as you see fit, and Calderdale and Kirklees 999 Call for the NHS’s Report for the Independent Review Panel is downloadable here. It’s rather long but there is a fairly brief introduction and summary that is a pretty quick read for your MP.

When you email your MP, please will you also attach the ck999 report to the Independent Review Panel?

You can find your MP’s contact details here:

Batley and Spen – Tracy Brabin MP

Calder Valley – Craig Whittaker MP

Colne Valley – Thelma Walker MP (Thelma has already said she supports the ck999 appeal to the IRP so you might want to email her and thank her, rather than asking her.)

Dewsbury – Paula Sheriff MP

Halifax – Holly Lynch MP

Huddersfield – Barry Sheerman MP

Please be sure to include your postal address when you email them, as MPs only respond to their own constituents.
