#Justice4NHS rally and Judicial Review, 24th April, Leeds High Court

There’s a facebook event here – if you’re on facebook, please click on ‘interested’ or ‘going’ to receive update notifications.

We are in court to challenge NHS England’s Accountable Care Organisation contract. We think it’s unlawful and would restrict people’s access to NHS care, plus threaten patient safety.

Gather outside Leeds High Court, 1 Oxford Row, LS1 3BG at 9am for a 9.30am rally. In a change of timing, the Judicial Review is now also scheduled to start at 9.30am. The judge has this morning (19 April) brought the start time forward from the original time of 10.30am. But the rally will go ahead as planned. Steve and Jenny from the 999 Judicial Review team will be in court and Jo (also from the 999 Judicial Review team) will be outside at the rally.

Please bring brief speeches, banners and a show of love for the NHS. And if poss wear something pink and/or yellow – the #Justice4NHS colours

Let’s show WHY we are defending our NHS as a comprehensive healthcare service – an #NHS4ALL that sets out to meet everyone’s clinical needs – not to “manage demand” and cut costs.

You’re welcome to make a brief statement about your campaign and why we are all fighting for #Justice4NHS and to keep the #NHS4All.

If you can’t attend the rally, please send your statement and we will read it out. Email: 999callfornhs@gmail.com

After the rally we will be in court all day. You are welcome to join us – seating is limited. You need to starting queuing at the main entrance to the court at least 30 minutes before the start of the hearing.
