Calderdale and Huddersfield Solutions Ltd have replied to our recent email with the information that:
“[I]t has always been the Company’s intention to pay occupational sick pay to all colleagues should they need to self- isolate in line with Occupational Health and Infection Control guidelines.
Any absence in this regard will be classed as paid medical exclusion rather than sickness
I hope this alleviates any concerns that you may have.”
This is obviously a relief to all concerned. But why was this not public knowledge in the first place?
